Sincholagua Volcano Summit
Climb Sincholagua Volcano Summit, an extremely beautiful mountain, during this climb you can also observe various other volcanoes such as: Cotopaxi, Antisana, Rumiñahui, Corazón, Pasochoa. The final part of the climb to this summit includes a steep ridge 30 meters in length, which is ideal for acclimatising to the altitude.
The summit of Sincholagua is 4,920 masl, and is located in the Cotopaxi National Park. It has an unrivalled view of various volcanoes, including Cotopaxi and Antisana. Note: To climb this mountain we recommend staying in the town of Machachi at our hostel CASA DEL MONTAÑERO, or alternative accommodation in the nearby area, as the day of ascent is long, and it is best to get an early start.

Important information: The ascent of Sincholagua is considered neither an easy, nor a difficult climb, but it does require climbing equipment such as; helmet, harness and rope. It also requires that the climber is in good physical condition.

Cancellation policy:
We put a lot of effort into the organization of every tour, but we understand that sometimes it is necessary to cancel. If you cancel with at least 30 days’ notice before the start of the tour, you receive a 100% reimbursement of the amount paid. After the 30-day notice period, or in the case of ‘no show’, no reimbursement is possible.
